What the tool considers

  • After upload, a palette of six dominant colors is generated automatically.
  • Clicking the required point selects the averaged color of a small area and shows its HEX code.
  • The photo is analyzed locally in the browser via Canvas: this tool does not use paid AI or server-side image processing.

Color in a photo depends on lighting, the camera’s white balance and the screen. If you need the shade for buying paint, use the photo as a digital guide and confirm the choice with a physical sample or test patch.
